On the marvelous coast of the Adriatic Sea near the historical coastal town of Pula we have prepared a tennis camp suitable for both recreational and competitive players and for families with children as well. The tennis camp takes place on the grounds of Park Plaza Verudela on the seaside full of sport centers and entertainment. Punta Verudela Resort tennis club has more than 20 tennis courts.

Pula is considered the capital of Istrian tourism, full of history, tradition and natural beauty. The dominant reminescence on the Romans, one of the remarkable traces of their presence is the magnificent Roman Amphitheatre (Arena). Pula became the significant control center of the Adriatic Sea during the rule of Venice and grew to be a major maritime port of Austro-Hungarian Empire during the Hapsburg monarchy.

Today, this is the city which represents the connection between holiday on the beautiful coast with crystal clear seawater, and the legends and marks of a successful past.

Unpolluted forests and coastlines, with clearly perfect beaches and moderate climate are important characteristics for those who prefer a holiday with diving, boat trips on the islands of Brijuni, , visiting the near "Croatian Venice" in Rovinja, historical town center of Pula, water-sports, visiting of a huge aquarium, bike trips and other entertainments connected with the seaside area.

Accommodation

Nice, comfortable accommodation is reserved in appartments right next to the tennis club. Inside the area at the appartments there are restaurants, shops, a bar and a pool with lot of interesting facilities where you can always refresh yourself.

Food

You can provide boarding by yourself, every appartment has a kitchen. Otherwise you can buy a half-board in a nearby restaurant for 14 EUR/person/day. The food store is near the appartments.

Tennis and condition - training

The two - phased training will take place under the leading of experienced, qualified coaches, in various groups. It shall be adapted on player ´s efficiency and abilities and extented with stretching, relaxation exercises and additional sports. It will be focused on the improvement of all tennis techniques, includingthe movement of legs, coordination and tactics. The tennis trainig takes place in the morning, for the occasion of interest is it possible to manage it for a fee individually in the evening as well.

For beginners, we will teach them the essentials of tenis technique - from the spot but also in the move, the movements on the court and the self-control and the right placement of every single tennis hit. All that we will put together into a whole of the tennis art.

Advanced players will improve all their techniques, from the spot and in the move, including the positioning, the power and the right placement in the tennis match. They will get to know the types of rotations and its usage. In the second half of the tennis camp we will get to know special tennis hits, for example dropshot, to approach, hits out of the court, lob, spinvolley etc. All hits you can try in the training of match situation and then in training-matches. At the end of the tennis camp there will be "Tennis - olympics" and Tennis Tournament for all players.

Free time-offering

In your free time you can go for a boat trip on 14 poetic islands Brijuni or by bus to 25 km distant "Croatian Venice" in Rovinja. You can go for sightseeing to the historical town of Pula with the ancient roman amfitheatre, go for diving, bike trip, you can visit the huge aquarium, play minigolf, beachvolleyball and other sports. With this competes the entertainment and relax at the pool, in the local taverns and mainly the athmosphere of the seaside.

Schedule of the day

Arrival

On 25th of June 2016 6:00 PM to Punta Verudela Resort in Pula. Tranport between bus or train station or the airport in Pula, as well as the transportation from the Czech Republic can be provided by the organisator after agreement.

Departure

On 2nd of July 2016 after 1:00 PM. Individual departure possible after agreement. We can provide the transportation on the train station or the airport.
