Kutná Hora I. (13.7. – 18.7.2025)

This camp is located in a pictoresque historical town 60km easterly from Prague. Tennis training is held at six courts of Tennis club Sparta Kutná Hora or in Sports Hall of the local Grammar School next to. Tennis courts are located cca. 1km from the Cathedral of St. Barbara, which is one of the main sights of Kutná Hora and can be found easily. There will be enough time during the camp to visit all the sights of this medieval town including Vlašský dvůr (Italian Court), where silver coins were coined.You can visit medieval silver mines due to them royal town Kutná Hora was the most important town of the Bohemian Kingdom (except Prague) in the 15th century.

The accommodation

The accommodation will be provided in hotel U Kata, which is situated on the outskirts of the historical centre in location, where in the middle ages the city walls were set up and where a part of the walls still remained, including the "executioners gate", which was the only allowed entrance into the city for the executioner. This is why the hotel is called "U Kata = At the executioners".

The hotel is situated just a few minutes of walk from the city monuments and sights, five minutes of walk from an outdoor aquapark, beachvolleyball court, bobsleigh track and indoor pool.

The hotel offers 45 themedly furnished double- and triple bedrooms and 5 two, three and four bed suites, providing the highest level of comfort. Each room has its own bathroom with bath or shower, TV/SAT and internet connection. For a little fee there’s a possibility of using the local wellness center with various services: beer spa, finnish sauna, steam bath, whirpool, massage etc. One part of the hotel is also a medieval tavern with renowned cuisine.

Hotel U Kata is cca. 2,5 Km distant from the tennis courts of TJ Sparta Kutná Hora. The transportation to the courts will be provided by us.

Boarding/eating

Full board is provided by hotel U Kata.

Daily Programme

Arrival

Kutná Hora I. Arrival 13th July 4:30 – 6:00 PM to the hotel U Kata (MAP). It is possible to use hotel parking in the courtyard (entrance from Stefanikova street). In case you wanted to use public transport, we recommend to use train into the station Kutna Hora město.

Departure

Kutná Hora I. Departure 18th July after 4:00 PM from hotel U Kata. Individual departure is possible after agreement.
